Latest Brazil Supercar


Rossin-Bertin, a Brazilian brand, plans to start manufacturing its supercar Rossin-Bertin Vorax whose name is like a pharmaceutical product in 2011. The Vorax is about to make it first appearance in late October at Sao Paulo Auto Show.

In terms of its specs, the Vorax concept model will be run on the V10 engine from the current BMW M5 engine. In addition, Rossin-Bertin car will have the ability to accelerate up to 62mph in 3.8 secondss and 205mph, whereas the supercharger can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 3.6 seconds and reach 231mph. In terms of its exterior appearance, Fharys Rossin, an ex-GM designer and Natalino Bertin Jr, features 1300kg aluminium chassis/ carbon fibre body car. Production of the Vorax coupe will start at a plant in Blumenau, 

Brazil in late 2011 or early 2012, while a convertible is scheduled to follow twelve months later. Rossin-Bertin hopes that this company will sell between 500 and 1,000 Voraxes for about R$700,000 (US$409,836).
